About the man.
According to Wikipedia, “Danny Kaye (born David Daniel Kaminsky; January 18, 1913 – March 3, 1987)was a celebrated American actor, singer, dancer, and comedian. His best known performances featured physical comedy, idiosyncratic pantomimes, and rapid-fire nonsense songs.”
He was an unbelievably talented individual, one of the last of its kind. You seldom see anyone today that can dance, sing, make you laugh, and act, let alone do all of them as well as Danny did. In addition to that, he was the first ambassador-at-large for UNICEF, and raised a wealth of awareness and funds for the organization.
About the blog.
This blog is meant to be a collection of pictures, articles, videos, quotes…anything related to Danny, a digital scrapbook if you will. I’ve noticed that there a quite a few fans of him on tumblr, so I figured that there should be a place where we all can meet and talk and fangirl over him. I might organize chats so we can all get to know each other.
